Atlanta Jewelry Show’s “The Loupe” buying group program to celebrate 2nd anniversary at August show

(ATLANTA) - The August, 2017 Atlanta Jewelry Show (AJS) will be celebrating a special anniversary when the show floor opens up for business on August 12th.  The AJS Buyer Group program, “The Loupe” is turning 2 years old, and continues to expand with new partners, programs and service offerings.


NCJA/SCJA hold Annual Conference in Charleston

Rings of Strength reaches five year milestone

(NEW YORK) - Jewelers for Children (JFC) held the 5th installment of the Rings of Strength Tour on Sunday, June 4, at Mandalay Bay Resort Casino in Las Vegas. More than 160 participants assembled at 5:30 a.m. to either walk or run 5K, or bike one of two courses, a leisurely 15K route or a challenging 50K route. An option for yoga was also available. Participants who signed up built their own fundraising websites and collected more than $30,000 to support JFC. The event has now raised over $300,000 in five years.

Charles Stanley and Yancy Weinrich honored at Jewelers for Children Facets of Hope

(NEW YORK) - Jewelers for Children (JFC) held the 19th edition of the Facets of Hope event on June 7, in Las Vegas at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. The charity announced that $2.2 million had been raised to support their charity partners in the year ahead bringing the cumulative total since 1999 to $53.5 million donated on behalf of the industry to help children in need. “What an amazing milestone for the charity, and particularly for our industry,” said Dennis Ulrich, JFC board chair and one of the evening’s honorees. “Over the past 19 years, we have touched the lives of so many thousands of children and their families.”
