Prime Jewelry Group to host Sunset Beach Party at October buying event

The Prime Jewelry Group has announced that hosted guests at their Sarasota, FL event, October 4-5, will enjoy a hosted dinner, relaxing music, tropical cocktails, and more at a private beach party. The Beach Party will be held at the Ritz-Carlton, Sarasota's private Beach Club on beautiful Lido Key. The Sunset Beach Party will take place on Sunday, October 4 from 6 to 10 PM. The location, known for spectacular gulf coast sunsets is a site with luxurious amenities, pools, and sugar sand beaches, where revelers come to look for the elusive "flash of green" as the sun slips below the horizon.

JA New York Summer Show buzzes with optimistic outlook

(NEW YORK) - From never-before-seen jewelry pieces and pavilions to experiencing new seminars and networking sessions, many jewelry industry professionals believe that a revitalization in the jewelry industry is on its way after attending the JA New York Summer Show, held at the Jacob K. Javits Center in New York City from July 26th - 29th. Jewelers for Children to donate $ 1.75 million to Children’s Charities

(NEW YORK) - On May 31, 2009, Jewelers for Children, the industry's charity, held the 11th Annual Facets of Hope event in Las Vegas during the JCK Show. The charity announced intentions to donate $1.75 million to their charity partners in the year ahead.

"The Facets of Hope event is the culmination of our annual cycle of fundraising, and to be pledging more than $1.7 million to our charity partners is truly a success story," said Howard Sherwood, JFC board chair. The organization also recognized past honorees from the previous 10 years of festivities.
