W.R. Cobb taps Jay Gerber to lead sales/marketing for online division

UPMR expands plant to accommodate 70% growth

At a time when many companies are downsizing in order to survive, United Precious Metal Refining, Inc. (UPMR) is not only expanding, but thriving. Driven by a 70% increase in their refining business, the company has just built a 6,200 square foot addition to its plant in Alden, NY.  The main objective of the expansion was two-fold; accelerate the processing time of the material to protect their customers from the volatile metal markets and to double their refining capacity.

Jewelers Mutual, Diamond Council announce Security Initiative

Jewelers for Children announces Board of Director elections

(NEW YORK) - Jewelers for Children (JFC), the jewelry industry’s charity, is pleased to announce the election of its new Board of Directors. Ed Bridge, President of Ben Bridge Jeweler, has replaced Howard Sherwood as Chairman. Sherwood concluded his two-year term on September 30.
