Diamond Council of America elects new Board of Directors

(NASHVILLE) - The Diamond Council of America (DCA) membership elected new members to their Board of Directors at their annual Board meeting in Las Vegas. Josh Weinman, Taché Diamonds was elected Chairman, Peter Engel, Fred Meyer Jewelers Chairman Elect, and Bud Fluty of Absolute Brilliance Secretary/Treasurer. Two new Directors were also elected to the DCA Board; David Peters, Director of Member Services, Jewelers of America, and Darrell Warren, Vice President of Tools and Fabricated Metals, Stuller, Incorporated. Mitch Maggart, Helzberg Diamonds moves to Past Chairman.

Romanoff celebrating 60th anniversary

ROMANOFF-AugustBarney and Jessie Romanoff began Romanoff Rubber Company in 1949 in a small Manhattan loft. Sixty years later, Jessie Romanoff still works alongside the second and third Romanoff generations every day. This year Jessie Romanoff will be celebrating her 99th birthday!

Over her sixty years with the company, Jessie Romanoff has seen a great deal of growth.
