(GREENSBORO, N.C.) - Replacements, Ltd., the world’s largest retailer of vintage and current tableware and collectibles is expanding into another product category - estate jewelry.
“This is our chance to give new life to beautiful pieces that may have been sitting in someone’s drawer,” says founder and CEO Bob Page. “Much like our dinnerware and estate offerings, we’re able to connect these pieces to someone who will cherish their beauty and pass these treasures along to future generations. We’re really excited about this opportunity and think it’s a great fit for our customer base.”
To bolster purchasing opportunities, Replacements added a fourth-generation GIA-certified gemologist to the company’s team of experts. The retailer is actively buying inventory and is in the process of establishing a network of dealers and jewelry sources across the country, primarily focusing on one-of-a-kind pieces such as bracelets, rings, brooches and earrings.
Price points range from $60 to over $12,000, while the company anticipates offering even more exquisite pieces as Replacements adds to its growing inventory. Customers can browse the collection at Replacements’ North Carolina store or on the company’s website, replacements.com. Replacements is a member of the North Carolina Jewelers Association.
