Prepare for the unexpected at August 11-13 Atlanta Jewelry Show

(ATLANTA) – Learn something unexpected... Buy something unexpected... Earn something unexpected... Returning to the Cobb Galleria Centre August 11-13, the Atlanta Jewelry Show is filled with unexpected opportunities to help jewelers boost 3rd and 4th quarter sales. From a special hands-on Gemworld International Workshop and the GIA Diamond Grading Lab Class, to diamond grading services on the show floor and expanded educational opportunities, networking events and product resources, the August edition will give retailers the tools they need to unleash their true profit potential.

SJTA-booth-July“Our August show message, ‘Prepare for the Unexpected,’ hints at the wonderful opportunities we have in store for attending retailers,” says Carol Young, executive director, Southern Jewelry Travelers Association (SJTA), producers and managers of the Atlanta Jewelry Show. “Not only will they find more innovative designs and new exhibiting companies, they’ll also uncover unexpected business growth opportunities during SJTA U seminars covering today’s hottest topics, including Pinterest and social media, the use of contemporary metals, understanding today’s bridal couples - courtesy of The Knot - as well as methods of fine-tuning sales skills. Combine all of this with an environment that rewards retailers for their loyalty and on-site order-writing and it’s easy to see that the Atlanta Jewelry Show promises unexpected returns for retailers.”

Participants will examine a variety of natural and treated rubies and sapphires followed by a presentation concerning pricing considerations led by Dr. Cigdem Lule, FGA, GG, & Stuart M. Robertson, GG (GIA), Research Director, the GemGuide. The price is $395 and space at this program is also limited due to the one-on-one training involved.
