Bill Adams of William Adams & Associates to retire after 32 year career

(ATLANTA) - Long time insurance agent to the jewelry industry William “Bill” Adams recently announced he is retiring on August 10, 2014. Since founding William Adams & Associates on January 29th, 1987, Bill has made his mark among the Southeastern jeweler community as an expert in Jewelers Block insurance, a specialist in jewelry business safety and security, and a leader in jewelry industry associations.

Bill-Adams-AugBill began his career by serving local jewelers in Georgia, and gradually expanded his agency’s reach throughout Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, South Carolina and Tennessee. He served the majority of his 32-year career doing what he loved most, meeting face-to-face with jewelers, listening to their concerns, and offering solutions to help protect their business against the heightened threats unique to this special industry.  Bill was also very active in jewelry industry trade associations, serving as President of SJTA and a perennial director for the Georgia Jewelers Association.

Bill’s legacy and passion for the jewelry industry will continue long into the future with the experienced team he has built at William Adams & Associates. Stark Harbour, Pam Hill and Jay Rogers have been responsible for day to day operations since 2012, and will continue to serve the region’s jeweler community.

“I feel very confident in the knowledgeable team we’ve built at William Adams & Associates. They have the extensive training and field experience to make them experts in the Jewelers Block business. I know they will continue to demonstrate our agency’s tradition of offering the highest level of service to our partner jewelers,” Bill explained.

Bill also commented: “My wife Nancy and I have truly enjoyed our many years in the jewelry business. We have met and gotten to know so many wonderful people. We will certainly miss the day to day contact with all our jeweler friends. This experience, of being part of the jewelry industry, has exceeded any expectations I had when I started this business nearly 32 years ago. We know we are going to miss being part of it!”

A retirement reception is planned for Aug. 10, 2014 at 5:30 p.m. following the Atlanta Jewelry Show to congratulate Bill on his service to the jewelry industry.
