After waiting 20 years since Mr. and Mrs. Ben Affleck’s (yes, she’s using his name) first engagement, fans who felt left out when the couple eloped for their quickie July Las Vegas wedding were rewarded when Bennifer decided to re-do the ceremony leveledUP! with a fabulous A List event August 20 at Ben’s 87 acre $8 million Riceboro, Georgia estate, overlooking the water.

The three day event was planned, Hollywood style, by Colin Cowie of Colin Cowie Lifestyle, and included a 45 minute ceremony, cocktails and dinner, as well as follow up fireworks and next day brunch and festivities. Guests were asked to wear all white (Ben wore a Ralph Lauren Couture white tuxedo jacket, black tie and black pants), with white flower decorations throughout – there was even a white piano. Celebrity guests included Matt Damon and Jim Kimmel. The idyllic rustic chic setting provided perfect photo opts for the white bedecked guests set again the lush green backdrop.

So as not to disappoint, Jen, once named by People magazine “the most beautiful woman in the world,” wore three separate Ralph Lauren gowns! Jen teased the bridal details on her site OntheJLo.com. The first dress, worn during the ceremony, was a short sleeve mermaid with fluttered sleeves and a ruffled train (created by attaching 1000 handkerchiefs by hand) with a 20 foot trailing veil. A plunging front with Swarovski crystal detailing and open back highlighted the second bridal outfit. To complete the ensemble, the final wedding gown was accented with cascading strings of pearls touching the floor, a plunging front and open back.

And the jewelry! To complement her new stunning green diamond engagement ring, Jen sparkled in $2 million Samer Halimieh drop earrings, 27 carat pear and marquise diamonds shaped into flowers. Also featured were classic Mikimoto pearl and diamond earrings and a ring, all set in platinum.
The couple’s five children from previous marriages were in attendance, also all dressed in Ralph Lauren. Jen serenaded Ben in a private performance for guests only, who seemed perfectly happy to just sit back and enjoy the performance. Said Jen, “This is heaven. Right here. We’re in it now.” Wishing the best of luck to the newly minted couple.
