“Each year we are amazed by the stunning designs these talented students create,” explains Carol Young, executive director, SJTA, producers and managers of the Atlanta Jewelry Show. “This year, in particular, generated the largest voting response from the show floor as well – the Best in Show ballot box was simply overflowing. On behalf of all of us at the Atlanta Jewelry Show, we salute all of the talented artists who participated in the competition and know that we will be seeing and hearing more from each of them in the future.”
The annual SCAD Student Design Competition is open to currently matriculated students and alumni from SCAD. This year’s entries were judged by a panel of experts, including industry designers, retail jewelry store owners, SCAD faculty and guest judge Wayne Werner.
