Prime Jewelry Group announces 2010 hosted attendance programs for luxury buying event

The Prime Jewelry Group, a member-owned organization of fine quality jewelry manufacturers that produces its own annual buying events, has simplified its hosted packages for invited retailers, making it easier than ever for buyers to enjoy all of the deluxe amenities offered at its 2010 event. Prime is scheduled to take place on Sunday, August 29 and Monday, August 30 at the luxurious Ritz-Carlton Resort in Naples, Florida, located in the midst of Florida’s “Paradise Coast.” A welcome reception is planned for Saturday evening, August 28.

Invited retailers may select any of three ways to attend Prime:

  • The Elite Package, which includes round trip airfare for two people, two nights of deluxe accommodations at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Naples, Florida, a welcome cocktail party, breakfasts, lunches and cocktails at the event, and opportunities to socialize and network at Prime, offered to retailers who agree to make purchases totaling $30,000 or more from any of Prime’s members during the event.
  • The Preferred Package, which is perfect for retailers driving to the event, offers one night of deluxe accommodations at the Ritz Carlton, plus all of the food, beverages and social events above for a $15,000 buying commitment.
  • A Daily Pass is also available for invited retailers who wish to attend Prime but prefer to not make a purchasing commitment. Retailers who attend Prime with Daily Pass admission enjoy the amenities offered each day at the event, which includes Continental breakfast, gourmet buffet luncheons, cocktails and wine in the exhibit area and the opportunity to view the latest offerings from some of the industry’s most distinguished brands in an elegant and unhurried environment.

The Prime Jewelry Group will hold their 2010 luxury buying event at the Ritz-Carlton, Naples, FL, August 29 & 30.
“At Prime, we want our retail partners to be amply rewarded for their business, so we truly pamper them throughout the event,” states John Preziose, President of the Prime Jewelry Group. “We try to anticipate everything they will need to have a superlative buying experience, and we specifically select the finest destinations and resorts known for their impeccable service and luxurious environment.”

In addition to the two levels of admission, retailers who purchase $75,000 receive a free deluxe hotel night at the 2011 Prime event. Those spending $100,000 or more earn two additional free nights in 2011. Buyers may also extend their hotel stay, taking advantage of Prime’s greatly reduced rate of $159 per night.

“Prime gives both the retailers who attend and the manufacturers who are members an opportunity to spend more time together, not only reviewing new designs and programs to help grow their business, but to forge stronger relationships,” Preziose continued. “Prime members make a point of introducing retailers they know to other companies within the group. With stronger ties between retailers, designers and manufacturers, we can share information to help each other. And with the roster of companies that participate in Prime, retailers who feature fine quality branded merchandise can find just about everything they need without hiking through aisle after aisle of merchandise they don’t stock. It’s a better way to buy.”

The Prime Jewelry Group events are produced and managed by Southern Jewelry Travelers Association, producers of the Atlanta Jewelry Show. Prime buying events have taken place for the last eight years and offer retailers a chance to see an extensive array of merchandise in an elegant and secure environment.
