In addition to its innovative marketing support programs, KIM International offers a custom design program so retailers can change the metal type or color, head shape or size, add engraving or special finishes and much more. “For example, they can take a band from one ring and add the head from another,” Judy notes.

At June’s JCK Show, KIM International introduced an extra perk for retailers considering the Romance line: the Affiliate Website Solution. “KIM International is pleased to offer our retail partners an elegant, modern website solution that is packed with state-of-the-art features,” Judy says. “KIM International wants to be partners in their success, so we worked with a team of developers to offer this turnkey solution. The Affiliate Website Solution appeals especially to retailers who don’t have the time, money or knowledge to do their own website. “The website is prepopulated with all of our products,” Judy says. “It has full social media integration so they can link to Facebook and other social pages.”

Multiple themes and color schemes are available so retailers have options to customize the website, making it virtually their own.

For customers who have an established website, KIM International offers its Smart Frame Embed Solution to populate the Romance collection and other KIM International collections easily and seamlessly onto the existing website. Judy says the solution is “fully responsive on all platforms and provides up-to-date product images, detailed product data and filter tools.”

KIM International’s other lines include:

  • LaVie™  – a 14-karat gold and diamond bridal collection
  • Tesoro™ – a 14-karat gold, diamond and gemstone fashion collection
  • Eleganza™ – a sterling silver collection with gemstones and 14-karat accents

Tesoro is selling particularly well, Judy says, with its open-design rings and layering on the necklaces. KIM International introduces new designs at least twice a year – in the spring and in the fall.

Success Story

KIM International has been in business more than 41 years, operating out of its headquarters in Dallas. The company was founded by B.K. Kim, who moved to the United States from South Korea, bringing his family with him. The children now operate the business – C. Mike Kim as President and Aeran Kim Park as Vice President and Head of the Diamond Division. “The company started small,” Judy says, “but it has turned into this magnificent company now. It’s a real success story.”
