Full-service offerings make Vardi Company retailers’ ‘back-office partner’

Vardi Bridestar SeptVardi Company was created with one central question in mind: “How can we ensure our members’ success?”

“We ensure success through innovative offerings, including free industry leading technology, powerful selling tools and beneficial services – all of which focus on making the independent retailer’s business more efficient and profitable,” says company co-founder and CEO Steven Vardi. “We are a hybrid jewelry manufacturing company whose offerings encompass those of a jewelry manufacturer, buying group, service provider and technology company.”

Rather than focusing on individual sales, Vardi Company seeks to become the retailer’s back-office partner and has developed a suite of full-service offerings that allow the retailer to focus on closing the sale, while Vardi Company handles the rest. “We recognize that in today’s challenging business environment it is vital to adapt, and that is why Vardi Company was created – to help independent retailers succeed by saving them valuable time and money,” Steven says.

Vardi Company is an independently owned corporation founded in 2009 by Steven Vardi and Michael Vardi in the New York City Diamond District. Both Steven and Michael are third-generation jewelry manufacturers, as well as diamond and gemstone wholesalers.  Matthew Feldman joined in 2009, at Vardi Company’s inception, and currently serves as Vice President.

“We are absolutely a family business, through bloodline and its internal culture,” Steven says. “Creating a family atmosphere allows us to pour our hearts and souls into the business.”

700 Retail Members & Growing

Vardi Conceirge SeptVardi Company, headquartered in New York with facilities and operations across the globe, started with around 20 independent retail members. After careful planning and expansion, the company now supports more than 700 independent retail members and continues to see consistent growth.

“Having been in the industry our entire lives we recognized a clear need to offer more than just products,” Steven says. “Vardi Company is always looking to expand our offerings, when they make sense. We have expanded beyond products to offer tools, services and technologies, with many more in the pipeline.”

One of Vardi Company’s popular offerings is the BrideStar™ System, a bridal prototype selling solution. “In light of our continued support for our members, we have elected to offer the BrideStar™ System at our cost to make owning this incredible system much easier,” Steven says. “Our full 64-piece system is available for only $995, including the display.”

While the BrideStar™ System alone is an incredible offering, Vardi does not stop there:

• Diamonds On Demand™ is a 100 percent free, no obligation, full-service diamond sourcing solution, including powerful online diamond search technology and full-service diamond fulfillment and support. Retailers can simply go online, search the company’s available inventory of more than 50,000 certified diamonds in any of the three modes, press the “request stone” button and receive the desired stones via free overnight shipping. If a requested stone is unavailable or unsalable, a Vardi Diamond Sourcing Specialist will find suitable alternatives for the retailer.

• Showroom Mode was created to empower Vardi Company’s members by providing them with the company’s entire online catalog, using retail markups and personalized branding (the retailer’s logo).

• Vardi Concierge makes creating custom jewelry easy. Vardi Concierge will custom manufacture jewelry from an image or sketch and will create a CAD for your customer’s approval within 3-5 days, and finish the piece with your choice of  diamond quality or any gemstones. The full-service concierge saves members significant time and money by managing the entire project from concept to creation. Plain and simple, Vardi makes custom convenient.

Vardi Company’s extensive product offerings include bridal jewelry, diamond basics, diamond fashion, gemstone jewelry, chains, loose gemstones and loose diamonds.

The Bottom Line

Vardi DOD SeptThe single most important facet of Vardi Company that keeps retailers coming back, Steven says, is excellent customer service. “We genuinely care for the long-term success of our members. We prove it with a wide breadth of offerings, industry leading services, positive experiences and positive outcomes.”

What’s new on the horizon for Vardi Company? “If it wasn’t a matter of national security, we’d share all the details with you!” Steven says. “We have endless new product offerings, as well as great tools and technologies in development. Each of these new offerings is being built to continue to make our partners more profitable and more successful. Follow us online, or join our e-mail list to keep up-to-date!”
