IDD of New York is proud to announce the celebration of their 30th anniversary this year.   Their story of success is one built on service, perseverance, and the loyalty and trust of their customers.  With such stories being a rare occurrence in this industry today, IDD is proud to celebrate 30 years of tradition and innovation.

The IDD journey began in 1984 when the company was founded with minimal resources as a loose diamond supplier to industry wholesalers.  Using persistence and excellent service as the backbone of their operation, they soon earned the coveted reputation as a trusted source for successful diamond jewelry programs and as a loose diamond supplier to independent retailers.  Now, still a family owned and operated business, IDD has flourished into an impressive global company with offices, factories, and facilities spanning over 4 continents and thousands of loyal customers located throughout the world.

IDD is celebrating their 30th anniversary in 2014.

So what’s their secret to success?  The answer is the fundamental ideals with which they operate.  Rich in traditional values and modern innovation, IDD uses the company’s founding principles of “Consistency, Value and Service” as the cornerstones of their business, while integrating state-of-the-art technology, effective merchandising solutions, and the latest marketing strategies to give their customers a true edge in today’s market.

Without a doubt, IDD’s delicate balance of tradition and innovation continues to play an essential role in their business operations, particularly in the growth of their product development. Whether introducing the hottest fashion collections or latest bridal merchandise of the season, IDD’s core strength of diamond basic programs remains at the forefront of their product line. In fact, by utilizing their strength in diamond resources, IDD has developed and expanded their merchandise reach into several high-grossing jewelry programs such as Iddeal Star, Iddeal Bridal, and, the very popular, Dazzling Diamonds Collection.

IDD’s Dazzling Diamonds Collection is among their most successful programs.

Within the last five years, IDD has experienced a considerable amount of growth, thanks in part to the incorporation of state-of-the-art technology into their every day routine.  From their easy-to-use, interactive B-to-B website, to their comprehensive marketing strategies with revolutionary e-commerce solutions and social media campaigns, IDD constantly explores new methods to provide their customers with the most innovative and effective business solutions.

Yes, for IDD it’s all about superior service for the customer.  And, it is this mentality that has earned them several service awards, membership in all the major buying groups, and the reputation as the “nice guys” in the industry, an honorary title of which they are extremely proud.

A 30th Year Celebration to Remember

So with the 30-year anniversary upon us, it’s time to get this party started!   With a yearlong celebration of fanfare and fun with new promotions and innovative programs planned, IDD is preparing for one of the biggest years in their history.

Kicking off the anniversary celebration is the highly anticipated launch of Iddeal Credit Card.  IDD says this new program boasts the “broadest credit approvals in the industry” and is the perfect solution for the retailer who wants to increase store sales. Specifically designed as a fully integrated point of sale payment solution and free to all loyal IDD customers, the Iddeal Credit Card Program offers an easy one-application process with seamless first and second looks and leasing program options.

Making its re-launch for this special occasion is the incredibly successful “Diamond Brokerage Program,” now featuring e-commerce solutions for the independent retailer.  Capture more loose diamond sales as your customers browse and shop from over 39,000 certified diamonds located on your store website and at your preferred mark-up.  Boost your loose diamond online inventory, compete with other e-commerce websites, and enjoy the convenience of thousands of certified diamonds at your fingertips with IDD’s global diamond database.

Continuing in the celebratory festivities is the debut of the “Customer Invitational”; the latest program for elite IDD independent retailers.  Available by invitation only to qualifying customers, IDD offers an all expense paid trip to their New York showroom, for the ultimate IDD shopping experience.

IDD’s strength in diamond basics programs has resulted in steady growth and loyal customers.

With the party just getting started, there’s much more excitement still to come.  Customers can look forward to an entire year of online promotions, the debut of the hottest diamond jewelry collections, and the latest in marketing support and technology.

“After 30 wonderful years, we are truly grateful for the opportunity to serve you and be a part of your business,” said Alok Mehta, president and CEO of IDD. “The success of IDD would not be possible without the trust and loyalty of our customers; we look forward to working with you for many years to come.”

With their sights set firmly on a successful road ahead, IDD remains steady on their course of tradition and innovation, and ready for the ever-changing demands of the market and their customers.
