To Infinity & Beyond

Star Infinity band program offers a universe of possibilities

“To infinity and beyond!” The famous catchphrase of Buzz Lightyear in the Toy Story films comes to mind when thinking of the endless possibilities that Gem Star’s latest STAR INFINITY custom wedding band program brings to independent and small chain jewelers.

This leading, Dallas-based diamond jewelry producer – known for its diverse, design-focused, in stock and ready-to-ship diamond jewelry collections – heralds in the New Year with its latest innovation, STAR INFINITY.

This engaging program allows customers to build diamond eternity-style bands with a user-friendly online ring configurator that provides immediate pricing, with jeweler-preferred markup.

Among the diamond choices are calibrated round brilliant and fancy-cut diamonds, natural or lab-grown, VS to SI clarity, GH color, in sizes from 0.10 to 0.75 carats. There are five types of anniversary bands to choose from: full eternity, half and three-quarter way, five-stone, and east-west orientation for fancy shapes including emerald, oval, pear, and marquise.

Bands are available in 14K and 18K gold (yellow, white and rose) and platinum. Ring sizes range from 4.5 to 10, and can be customized to quarter ring sizes. Gem Star also offers custom models to fill special orders beyond the scope of its ready models.

Attention to Detail

“Diamond bands are popular, but for many they can be bulky, wide and uncomfortable to wear every day. This is a problem when using the standard casting available in the market,” explains Gem Star CEO Amit Patel.

But STAR INFINITY resolves this issue, recognizing that every diamond is unique and should have its own seat custom fit to perfection. Diamonds in the STAR INFINITY band are set in either soft claw prong or bezel, with or without gallery, and at minimal height, with negligible gap between stones. It is this quality of craftsmanship that produces a ring that is not only stunning in its sparkle, but also incredibly comfortable to wear.

Confident that jewelers who try its STAR INFINITY wedding band program will close more sales, Gem Star is offering a six-month free trial, providing jewelers with a showcase display unit with up to 12 SKUs in silver and CZ, i-frame for web configurator, digital banners and social media, and retail catalogs for natural and lab-grown diamonds.

Focus on Innovation

STAR INFINITY is one of Gem Star’s more than 20 unique jewelry collections, from classic bridal and on-trend fashion styles to their large selection of stackable rings.

Recognized as an industry forerunner in product concepts, engineering and development, Gem Star is passionate about jewelry design and helping jewelers be more successful with the best quality products. Innovations like STAR INFINITY represent a perfect example of what Gem Star is as a brand.

This family-run business has served independent jewelers and small jewelry chains since 1988, providing products and services that help retail partners close more sales.

To help jewelers in 2023, Gem Star has an easy-to-use, interactive web site for retailers to browse its extensive inventory and place orders. The portal also allows partners to expand their online business with top quality images and product feeds automated in real time through a partnership with Clever Gems. Specializing in drop shipping, Gem Star is advocating this service this year to help jewelers expand their ecommerce business.

Commitment to Partners

“We believe the key to our success has been our commitment to building long-term relationships with our retail partners, and to strive to always exceed their expectations,” says Patel.

Design has been Patel’s passion in this industry for the past 22 years, creating jewelry that delivers enduring style, beauty, comfort, quality, and value. These attributes drive Gem Star in its product development.

At the JCK Las Vegas Show in June this year, Gem Star plans to unveil its 2023 catalogs, introducing more than 1,000 new and innovative styles to its already expansive portfolio.

A member of several retail buying groups, jewelers can find Gem Star at the major jewelry trade shows in 2023. For more information about the company call 866-368-5700 or visit them online at www.gemstarco.com.
