In memory of Gunner. Gunner was the 1st generation Labradoodle Showroom Dog at Eddie Lane’s Diamond Showroom in Cincinnati, Ohio. Sadly he recently fell victim to degenerative myelopathy, leaving an empty space in the store and the hearts of the store’s staff. “We miss him terribly,” said Cindy Lange, owner. Gunner worked at the store every day since he was 8 weeks old. Cindy’s dad got him for her kids while she was out of town in Las Vegas. “I was considering a 4th generation Labradoodle to insure hypo-allergenic and non-shedding,” recalls Cindy. “Well, that night my son, 4 years old, says ‘Papa got us a dog.’ I had 7 more nights in Vegas. I knew the kids would be attached.” She was none too pleased. But it all worked out in the end. “Yes, he sheds. Yes, I am allergic to him, but it was worth it. Not only was he loved by my family, he was loved by his family at work,” said Cindy.
