Mindi Hackett, owner of Prescott, Arizona-based Legacy Jewelry has two furry friends who are dedicated to helping educate youngsters about what gemstone represents each month! Meet Leo (aka Legacy Leo) and Jax (aka Jewelry Jax). These adventurous pups are brothers from the same litter and are Chihuahua/Shih Tzu mixes. The pups star in Legacy Jewelry’s store coloring book – all illustrated by the multi-talented goldsmith. Their names just happened to work well with the store’s name! There’s a small section in the store for little ones to color, which keeps them busy and allows the rest of the family to shop.
