Furry Friends on the Job: Say hello to Miss Diamond from North Georgia Diamond

September 10, 2020

Introducing Miss Diamond, store mascot and greeter at North Georgia Diamond in East Ellijay, Georgia. Miss Diamond is a 2-year-old Blue Heeler given to store owners Bill and Allison Craig for Christmas in 2018 by their “wonderful” staff! Bill and Allison had Diamond professionally trained and the results were great – she is very gentle with folks of all ages. Clients stop by just to see her, often bearing toys and treats. The Craigs had always been cat people, then Diamond came into their life and they have become “crazy dog people.” She also has two roommates, Teddy and Bear. The 1-year-old rescued Miniature Australian Shepherds work alongside Diamond. “Business is way up since we started bringing the dogs in to the store,” says Bill. “We are in a rural area an hour north of Atlanta and our clients just love it!”
