Furry Friends on the Job: Say hello to Sounder and Elijah Jane of Lynch Jewelry

December 21, 2020

Introducing Sounder and Elijah Jane (aka EJ). The 3-year-old brother and sister Bloodhounds work at Lynch Jewelry in Council Bluffs, Iowa. They like to hang out in the store windows and protect the store from Chihuahuas, says their human Marti Lynch. During the week Sounder and EJ spend their time with Marti at the store, and on weekends they can be found chasing raccoons, rabbits and other varmints. The siblings are very vocal and will even sing. Appropriately, their favorite song is Do Your Ears Hang Low. Most customers like to interact with them and Marti keeps a healthy stock of milk bones on hand.
