The state associations of Alabama and Georgia invite all retail jewelers and suppliers to the 2016 annual co-hosted convention at Marriott’s Grand National Resort & Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail in Opelika, Alabama. “Our attendees had a great experience in Opelika last year, and requested a return. We hope more jewelers from Alabama and Georgia join us in April because this type of event and quality education doesn’t come close-to-home very often,” said Danny Clarke, President, Alabama Jewelers Association.
The educational program features an outstanding line-up with Amanda Gizzi of the Jewelry Information Center (JIC), and David Geller, of Jeweler Profit and author of “Geller’s Blue Book.”
On Saturday, golfers will enjoy a tournament on the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail. Other weekend activities include design competitions held individually for each state, a special Jewelers for Children Charity Auction hosted by Tommy Glasscock, as well as meeting new friends and connecting with old ones in the Hospitality Suite.
Sponsorships are most appreciated by both Alabama and Georgia separately, and the state of Alabama encourages advertisers in their annual yearbook and resource guide to be presented at the convention.
