(CHARLESTON, S.C.) – The North Carolina Jewelers Association and South Carolina Jewelers Association are thrilled to have partnered together and formed the Carolina Jewelers Alliance (CJA). The CJA has announced for this year’s convention they are offering education and networking in a one-day format centrally located (Charlotte, NC) at the luxurious Ballantyne Resort & Hotel in Charlotte, NC.
The CJA is excited to present 7 separate educational courses on August 25 between 9 am and 5 pm. For the first time, content of these courses is geared towards owners, managers and employees, covering topics such as: Customer Service 101 for Employees, Bench 101 and Advanced Bench by Chuck Koehler, two courses by Joel McFadden and a grand finale Social Media Marketing Workshop.
While the course schedule is designed for jewelers to be able to drive in for the education and leave at the end, several complimentary social events before and after are planned if you choose to stay at one of the area’s hotels.
The Southern Jewelers Organization (SJO) is sponsoring a breakfast before the first programs start on Saturday morning, a buffet lunch will be provided during which the CJA annual member’s meeting will be held and SJO has invited all registrants to attend their big welcome party for cocktails and heavy appetizers.
The SJO Show will take place the following 2 days. SJO has been kind enough to partner with CJA in presenting the 2018 Convention to bring down costs to both attendees and vendors, bring added educational value to their members, and to make it more convenient for the many stores that are members of both CJA and SJO.
SJO is offering complimentary hotel accommodations to stores that are eligible to join the organization and is inviting them to attend the Show as well. In addition to the free hotel and entrance to the private show, meals and social events are also provided.
