Continental Buying Group (CBG) retailers and suppliers had a successful and powerful Virtual Event in September, which the buying group considered a “Virtual Victory!”
On the heels of that success, and as the COVID pandemic continues around the country, CBG has announced they will host a second Virtual Event in January 2021.
“The CBG platform is amazing and worked seamlessly!” said Michael Jaffe of Harold Jaffe Jewelers. “We were able to work with our CBG suppliers in a safe environment and get a lot of work done to prepare our store for the upcoming holiday season. The vendors we met with were extremely impressed. By meeting with us through the platform there were no distractions, and they had our undivided attention.”
The second CBG Virtual Event is scheduled for January 19-22, 2021. CBG will be adapting and extending the show hours in consideration of the varying time zones of suppliers and retailers.
The deadline to sign up for the second CBG Virtual Event is December 18. CBG advises you to register as soon as possible, the sooner you have your information on the site, the sooner retailers and suppliers can start making appointments.
“We know that nothing will ever take the place of in person interactions, but in consideration of everyone’s health and safety, it was imperative to invest in our own private virtual platform,” said Joe Murphy, COO of CBG.
