The Florida Society of Goldsmiths Northeast Chapter announces its 14th annual Winter Workshop January 4 – 8, 2010. This week of 2- and 3- day hands-on educational programs features 6 well known instructors: Juan Carlos Caballero-Perez, Marcia DeCoster, Joan Dulla, Mary Hettmansperger, Tom McCarthy, and Pauline Warg.
Workshop topics range from using the hydraulic press to form bracelets, cold connections, surface techniques, forging and fabrication, designing with pearls, crocheting with fine wire, making metal beads, and much, much more. Some courses require no previous metalworking experience and some are for intermediate to advanced goldsmiths.
Winter Workshop will be held at the beautiful Plaza Resort and Spa right on the oceanfront in Daytona Beach, Florida.
