Giveaways, initiatives help build momentum for the The Collective

Collective

(NEW YORK) – With Las Vegas Market Week just weeks away, momentum for The Collective, the comprehensive trade show event that includes AGTA GemFair™ Las Vegas, the Las Vegas Antique Jewelry and Watch Show and PREMIER™, continues to build. To take place at the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC), May 30th to June 3rd, The Collective is introducing a number of initiatives, both as a group and independently within each show, that are intended to drive traffic and create incredible energy and excitement on the show floor. One badge will give attendees access to all three shows, which are all taking place in the South Hall of the LVCC.

The Collective is pleased to offer attendees the opportunity to win a trip for two to Florence, Italy. Attendees will simply need to leave a business card at the designated area on the show floor and a winner will be selected randomly after show close. In order to facilitate easy transport between LVCC and other events taking place in Las Vegas, both Uber and Lyft codes, as well as on-going shuttle bus service from The Wynn and Encore Las Vegas, will be provided.

Throughout the five days, AGTA GemFair™ Las Vegas is pleased to offer multiple opportunities for attendees to win thousands of dollars in credit that can be spent on the show floor. Additionally, the organization is pleased to introduce several amenities, including chair massages, rest and recharge bars, food carts and lounges in order to create an easeful show experience. In order to help facilitate some of the logistics of the buying/selling experience, the show is also offering FedEx services.

“All of the new strategies we are implementing are in direct response to conversations we’ve been having within our community, and are intended to create an incredible buying and selling environment for both exhibitors and attendees,” explains Douglas K. Hucker, CEO of AGTA. “We’re confident that The Collective, which encompasses our co-location with the Las Vegas Antique Jewelry and Watch Show and PREMIER, will establish the LVCC as a one-stop-shop for those attending Market Week.”

PREMIER is thrilled to offer a “speed mentoring” program to those brands exhibiting in the PREMIER X Designer Section of the show. On Saturday morning, June 1, each participating designer will be matched with one of several industry experts, retailers and press to receive invaluable feedback about their lines, their in-case display, their marketing and their overall brand presentation.

“Our ‘speed mentoring’ and other initiatives that are currently in the planning stages are intended to create a shared experience for our brands,” noted Drew Lawsky, PREMIER Show Director. “We recognize that one of the major benefits of exhibiting in Las Vegas is the ability to form relationships, both with attendees, and among our exhibitors, so we’re going to facilitate those opportunities as much as possible.”

The Las Vegas Antique Jewelry and Watch Show has a long-standing reputation for showcasing museum-quality pieces from famous brands such as Cartier, David Webb, Buccellati and Rolex. At this year’s show, attendees can also expect to see some noteworthy pieces once owned by famous celebrities and royalty. Chicago-based N. Green and Sons is pleased to offer a display of jewelry and watches once owned by icons such as Elizabeth Taylor, Elvis Presley, Liberace and many more, while Ye Olde Timekeepers continues to amass their selection of famous items, such as an originally commission Van Cleef & Arpels “zipper” necklace.

“Our vendors are excited about our co-location with AGTA GemFair™ Las Vegas and PREMIER,” said Katrina Canady, Show Manager for U.S. Antique Shows. “No matter what your area of expertise within the jewelry and watch industry, the stories that accompany our vendors’ merchandise is always of interest, and our vendors are always so passionate about sharing those stories. We can’t wait to see the breadth of product that will be offered at this year’s event!”

The Collective is taking place May 30th to June 3rd at the Las Vegas Convention Center. To learn more AGTA GemFair™ Las Vegas visit www.agta.org; the Las Vegas Antique Jewelry and Watch Show visit www.lasvegasantiquejewelryandwatchshow.com; and PREMIER™ visit www.premiershow.com.
