The Indian Diamond & Colorstone Association (IDCA), a New York based premier association of jewelers, diamantaires and colored stone dealers, hosted its 39th Annual Awards Night on June 2nd, 2023 at the Venetian Hotel during the JCK Las Vegas Show.
At the event, the IDCA honored Jewelry Television, Susan Jacques, Laxmi Diamond Pvt. Ltd. and Yogesh K. Madhvani. Paul Rowley of De Beers Group gave the keynote address.
In his opening remarks, IDCA President, Shailesh Jhalani thanked the honorees and guests for joining in the gala.
- Kris Kulesza, Chief Merchandising Officer accepted the Retailer of the Year Award on behalf of Jewelry Television.
- Vasant Gajera, Founder & Chairman of Laxmi Diamond Pvt. Ltd., was awarded the Excellence in Diamond Manufacturing & Socially Responsible Company Award.
- Susan Jacques, President & CEO, Gemological Institute of America was awarded with the Doyenne of the Year Award.
- Yogesh K. Madhvani, President & CEO of Simplexdiam, Inc., was honored with the Business Leadership – Jewelry Award.
Keynote speaker Paul Rowley, Executive Vice President, Diamonds of De Beers Group, was accompanied by the Botswana Delegation. The audience had an opportunity to hear from Ms. Emmah Peloetletse, Permanent Secretary to the President, Botswana Government.
Mr. Manoj Bhandari, IDCA Secretary, closed the evening by thanking all for attending the gala.
