At the Symposium, the IDCA will also honor three companies and individuals for their outstanding achievements in the US Gems & Jewelry Industry.

The US – India State of the Diamond & Jewelry Industry Trade Symposium will focus on expanding the gem and jewelry trade between the US and India as well as current trends in the global jewelry trade.
The gems and jewelry industry of India contributes 7% to India’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and the sector contributes about 10 – 12% of India’s total merchandise exports, accounting for the third largest commodity share at US $39.31 billion in the year 2021-22.
Mr. Rajeev Pandya, IDCA President, stated that India is the world leader in the export of cut and polished diamonds, gemstones and jewelry, and the US jewelry market, estimated at over $80 billion in 2021 is one of the largest partners. The symposium will offer a singular take on expanding the gem and jewelry trade between the US and India.
The IDCA will host leading figures of government, the industry and the press from the US and India as speakers and panelists.
