JCK Events starts the New Year on strong footing for 2010 2011 move to Mandalay Bay 92% sold out

(NORWALK, Conn.) – JCK Events 2010 welcomes new companies to the largest industry gathering on June 4-7, 2010. New and returning companies from other Las Vegas shows include Assael International, John Buechner, Inc., Disney Fine Jewelry, FuFoo, Fope, Furrer-Jacot, Glam Rock, William Henry Studio, William Levine, Pearl Centre International/Bays Gem and Pearl, Rosato, Christofle Silver, and Staurino. Swiss Watch by JCK welcomes Carl Bucherer and Harry Winston who join Raymond Weil.

“This show of support is concrete evidence from the industry that JCK provides an excellent platform for the international jewelry community to gather to conduct business and network. For the 2010 event, JCK continues its reinvention to a retail-focused event. And based on their feedback, education will be on the show floor; there will be more opportunities to network through roundtables and designer talks and we will bring back the successful VIP program that was a catalyst for $360,000 in sales for exhibitors at the 2009 event,” said Dave Bonaparte, Group Vice President, JCK Events. “We are looking to welcome the entire industry to the 2010 event and will keep the strong momentum going into 2011 when we move to Mandalay Bay.”

To date, JCK 2011 at Mandalay Bay is 92% sold out with all the major industry associations and groups already on board. These include: The American Gem Trade Association (AGTA); Hong Kong Jewelry Manufacturers Association (HKJMA); LUXURY; Plumb Club; Prestige Promenade; Swiss Watch and Vicenza Oro Italian Pavilion. These were among the very first to sign up for 2011 and support the move to Mandalay Bay in 2011.

Following the 2009 event, the JCK team has been in touch with customers to gather insight and feedback on JCK’s transformation. Judging from the current numbers of category-leading companies who are contracted to participate in both the 2010 and 2011 events, JCK is confident that these companies recognize the value of JCK to their businesses.

In addition to U.S. retailer support, the JCK team has traveled abroad to India, Thailand, Israel, Belgium, Germany, the U.K. and Canada to share the JCK transition plan, elicit further feedback from the international community and gain the support from the entire industry. This is part of an ongoing effort that continues up to and through the 2010 event.

“I am pleased to report that the international community concurs with the domestic US retail base that JCK provides enormous value to the international jewelry industry and that they want to be a part of this important U.S. event,” Bonaparte said

JCK Las Vegas 2010 will take place on June 4-7, 2010 with LUXURY by JCK, to take place June 1-3, 2009 (preceding JCK Las Vegas). For more information on any of the JCK Events or to view the events image and video galleries, please visit www.jckshows.com or call 800-257-3626.
