(NEW YORK) – Jewelers of America (JA), a leading jewelry association for businesses serving the fine jewelry marketplace, hosted their third annual “Wear One” cocktail party on July 23 at the Yale Club in New York. Wear One, a festive celebration of jewelry and the inspiration behind beautiful collections, was open exclusively to JA Retail Members and press. Guests were able to view select pieces of jewelry and hear about the design inspirations from the following participants: Christopher Designs, Cultured Pearl Association of America, Drukker Designs, Leo Ingwer, Lilly Street, Scott West for L.J. West Diamonds, Rio Diamond Manufacturing Corp. and Spencer Fine Jewelry.
“Jewelers of America strives to give our retailer and supplier members unique opportunities to network in a relaxed and festive environment,” said Director of Public Relations and Events Amanda Gizzi. “Wear One enables our retailer members and press the opportunity to see new designs and meet new designers while hearing about the talented individuals behind the brand.”
Wear One was sponsored by Synchrony Financial, Jewelers Mutual Insurance Company and United Precious Metal Refining, Inc.
After visiting with all of the participants, guests were entered to win a limited edition painting by Angie Crabtree. The raffle, an Asscher cut diamond hand-finished giclée on canvas, was won by Catherine and Peter Manka Jr. of Ben Garelick Jewelers in Williamsville, NY.
