March 10-12, 2013
Hilton New York
If only you could find…
…those perfect bench tools that enable you to easily and precisely pierce, shape, and polish any type of metal…
…the exact components you need, in any style or metal – from an eclectic clasp to complement your new necklace design, to niobium ear nuts…
…the latest technologies you’ve heard about – lasers, CAD/CAM – and those you can’t wait to hear about next…
…a subcontractor who can meet your exact specifications on time, on budget, on demand…
…that one source where you can not only find all of your jewelry making and design needs – equipment, metals, chain, gems, beads, EVERYTHING – but also the know-how needed to put them to best use.
If you design and make jewelry, you’ve no doubt had such wishes, and would still love to find such a one-stop resource. If so, your search is over.
MJSA Expo New York, the trade show dedicated to professional excellence in jewelry making and design, will return to the Hilton New York in 2013, March 10-12. As always, it will feature the latest bench tools, laser welders, casting machines, alloys, CAD/CAM systems, gemstones and beads, component parts, stamping equipment – whatever you need to make and sell exceptional jewelry. You’ll also find premier subcontractors and business services to help take your ideas from concept to completion, and ensure your business remains profitable.
That’s why thousands of qualified buyers walk the aisles each year to ensure they stay on top of the latest innovations, to maintain their competitive edge, and to connect with others who share the same passions. As custom jeweler (and Expo aficionado) Tom McLaughlin noted, “Expo creates a great community atmosphere for people who do what I like to do, make jewelry!”
In addition to three floors worth of tools, supplies, and services, MJSA Expo New York also offers special events enabling that community to join together in the pursuit of new ideas and inspiration:
- The Expo seminar program brings together some of the best minds in the industry, with insights into everything from upcoming fashion trends to technological innovations to the coolest new bench technique. As one attendee noted, Expo is like a “living classroom.”
- The winners of the MJSA Vision Awards and Thinking Ahead Honors will again be celebrated. The Vision Awards recognize outstanding jewelry design as well as creative uses of tools and supplies, and the Thinking Ahead Honors go to those tools and supplies making the biggest difference in jewelry making today. Talk about the “best and the brightest!”
- The live finale of the Future of Design competition will again take place at Expo. Developed by the Jeweler’s Resource Bureau and StrategyWerx, the finale allows three finalists to deliver 10-minute presentations and field questions from both the audience and a panel of expert judges (think “American Idol” comes to the jewelry industry), all in the pursuit of a prize package worth $250,000. Last year, designer Bree Richey took the prize. This year… well, you’ll have to see for yourself.
