North and South Carolina jewelers will join together May 2 – 4, 2014 at the oceanfront Marriott Grande Dunes in Myrtle Beach South Carolina for the 140th Run for the Roses at their 2014 annual Conference. While the Kentucky Derby horse race will only last two minutes, the camaraderie and fun in the sun will last the weekend long.
The North Carolina Jewelers Association (NCJA) and South Carolina Jewelers Association (SCJA) will be hosting a Kentucky Derby party. Sport your finest hat for the viewing of the 140th Run for the Roses. Prizes will be awarded to the man and woman with the finest chapeau! Following the race, meet and greet old and new industry reps at the Sponsor Exhibit and Reception.
Saturday morning Owner Roundtables will be followed by the Bulova Golf Tournament at Myrtlewood Pinehills Golf Course. Sunday morning’s seminars include Brad Huisken of IAS Training. A popular Southern Jewelry News columnist, Huisken has a proven history in successful sales training. Additionally, Constant Contact will host an E-mail Marketing presentation and AVA Diamonds will share timely information on Synthetics Entering the Marketplace.
