Mike Holmes President of the Oklahoma Jewelers Association (OJA), has announced that jewelers from around the state of Oklahoma, as will as neighboring states, are invited to gather in Oklahoma City on April 7th, 2019, for fun and professional enrichment, hearing from two experts – one on diamonds and selling them, and the other on a fascinating aspect of personal skill training.
Jeffrey Skaret, Vice President Partner in Development for Forevermark, will open the day speaking on ‘The Changing Way We Sell Diamonds.’ “Mr. Skaret has been in the fine jewelry industry for more than 30 years, bringing his experience on almost every phase of the retail diamond industry, from bridal, to designer and fashion,” stated Holmes.
The afternoon session will be entitled, ‘Empower Your Voice: Own Your Vocal Authority, and Dealing with Difficult Conversations,’ featuring Rena Cook, a TEDx speaker, author, and presentation coach. Cook is Professor Emeritus at the University of Oklahoma, and founder of Vocal Authority, a training consultancy serving corporate clients, entrepreneurs, politicians, attorneys, CEOs, and sales professionals of many industries.
The venue for the event will be the Embassy Suites of Oklahoma City, with registration and breakfast at 8:00 a.m. and the seminar beginning at 9:00.
