During this event, consumers were invited to come into participating Preferred Jewelers Retail stores with up to 5 pieces of jewelry to be cleaned and checked free of charge.
Consumers who participated were encouraged to take photographs of their pieces and post on Instagram with the hashtag of the store they visited, as well as the tags, #WeArePreferred and #PreferredSpaDay. Tagged social media photos were automatically entered for a chance to win a Preferred 105 round diamond halo pendant with a $5000 retail value.
The Jewelry Spa Day event was designed to promote awareness of the Preferred Jewelers International brand, and to help participating retailers increase their individual store following on social media feeds.
More than 150 Preferred Jewelers International retail store members signed up to participate in the event, and CEO Andie Weinman was thrilled with the outcome. “The participation from our retailers, and their customers was beyond what we expected,” Weinman said. “I am thrilled that our nationwide network of Preferred Jewelers got behind this event in such a strong way, and promoted this opportunity so vigorously to their customers.
