PREMIER X Designer section making an especially strong showing
(NEW YORK) – As designers and brands continue to sign on to exhibit at the inaugural PREMIER event in Las Vegas, May 30 – June 3, 2019, the show announced the launch of their website, as well as the development of a strategic social media campaign.
The website, www.premiershow.com, will ultimately provide buyers with the opportunity to browse the exhibitor list, register to attend and gain access to special hotel rates at properties throughout Las Vegas. Show management has also launched PREMIER’s Instagram account, @Premier.Shows, where they are steadily welcoming the designers and brands that have signed on to exhibit at the event thus far.
“We’ve seen exceptionally strong support from designers who want to exhibit with us in our PREMIER X Designer section,” enthused Drew Lawsky, PREMIER Show Director. “Prior to our show entering the landscape, options for designers wanting to exhibit during Las Vegas Jewelry Market Week have been extremely limited. The brands who have signed on with us are thrilled to have a cost-effective opportunity to exhibit in a strategically curated environment, alongside two mainstay events, AGTA GemFair™ Las Vegas, and the Las Vegas Antique Jewelry and Watch Show.”
Fine Jewelry Management Consultant, Jackie LeBental of Barri Luxury Consulting, was one of the first to encourage two of her brands, M. Spalten and Leigh Maxwell, to exhibit within the PREMIER X Designer section, which already boasts 30 up-and-coming designers.
“I was really excited to learn about the PREMIER show debuting in Las Vegas next year,” Jackie explains. “I think the show provides a unique space for emerging designers to showcase their collections at a new niche venue. Since I manage rising talent luxury designers, we felt collectively that exhibiting with PREMIER was the right choice for launching during Las Vegas Jewelry Market Week.”
While it has only recently launched, the show has robust plans for growing its following on Instagram, and the excitement for the show has been showcased through the incredible engagement already taking place on the page. @onirkkajewelry wrote, “@premier.shows super excited to be joining such an amazing show!” @leighmaxwelljewelry wrote, “Thank you @premier.shows! We can’t wait to see you in Vegas!” Influencers and retailers are also expressing their enthusiasm, with online retailer Swoonery commenting, “Yay @debranavarro.jewelry we’ll see you there!”
The show recognizes the importance of utilizing social media to promote their designers, brands and retail partners. Liz Kantner, who consults with PREMIER on the curation of the PREMIER X Designer section will kick off the first of the account’s takeovers in mid-November, “Social media in general, and Instagram in particular, are extremely important tools for this design community,” Liz noted. “Instagram is also an effective means of showcasing our support for our brands throughout the year, while also maintaining transparency and an open line of communication with brands and retailers.”
The PREMIER website launch comes on the heels of the announcement of a joint marketing campaign, The Collective, which promotes the presence of all three events – AGTA GemFair™ Las Vegas, the Las Vegas Antique Jewelry and Watch Show and PREMIER – at the Las Vegas Convention Center with the comprehensive message of 1 Badge, 1 Hall, 3 Shows.
