Rembrandt Charms’ President Eric Lux set to defend Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona title

(BUFFALO, N.Y.) – Rembrandt Charm’s President, Eric Lux, will be defending his Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona title January 28 – 29, 2023. Lux, a Buffalo, NY native, is joining Pietro Fittipaldi, Austin Cindric, and Devlin DeFrancesco at the 61st Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona. Lux, a former International Motor Sports Association (IMSA) Champion and Rookie of The Year, won the 2022 Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona and finished 3rd the prior year.

Lux, DeFrancesco, and Fittipaldi will compete together for IMSA’s Michelin Endurance Cup consisting of the Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona, 12 Hours of Sebring, Watkins Glen 6 Hours, and Petit Le Mans. Eric will also compete in the three sprint races at Laguna Seca, Road America, and Indianapolis Motor Speedway with Fittipaldi.

“I am thrilled to join Rick Ware Racing and have the opportunity to defend my Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona win, and to fight for the IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar Championship! 2023 will be my 19th season in professional racing and my 13th visit to the Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona,” said Lux.

“I’d like to thank Rick Ware Racing and so many others who worked tirelessly over the past couple months! They did a spectacular job to create a championship caliber program, securing the best team members, mechanics, engineers, and drivers!” he added.

The Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona features the top racing talent from around the World, including Formula 1, IndyCar, NASCAR and Sports Car Racing. There are 61 confirmed entries competing in the Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona.
