The Southeastern Jewelers Organization (SJO) will host their 2016 Fall Show Saturday, August 27 through Monday, August 29 at the 5-star Ballantyne Hotel & Spa in Charlotte, NC. Attendees will enjoy the buying show, excellent educational seminars and all the luxurious Ballantyne Hotel & Spa has to offer.
The weekend’s event begin with the annual SJO Golf Outing at the Championship Ballantyne Golf Course on Saturday at 9:30. At 6:30 that evening SJO hosts their Welcoming Party. Members and guests can mix, mingle and network while enjoying complimentary cocktails and hors d’oeuvres.
Shane O’Neill, vice president of Fruchtman Marketing kicks off Sunday’s events with his breakfast seminar, “Digital Marketing the Right Way.” O’Neill will explore the world of digital marketing as he discusses the good, the bad, and the ugly side of digital marketing. Whether it’s poor budgeting or knowing how to properly use the different media channels available, a lot of retailers are under-performing in the digital space and losing dollars. This session will help you identify what to do, what not to do and why, so you can take action to get the most out of your digital marketing at the right price.
The Buying Show opens Sunday from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm. Members can view the latest products from some of the best vendors in the industry in an intimate, workable environment.
Sunday’s events are capped off at the always anticipated Member Gala. Beginning at 6:00 attendees will enjoy food, fun and entertainment while they network, relax and unwind.
On Monday the breakfast seminar will be delivered by NC retailer, Southern Jewelry News contributor and speaker Bill Warren, DDJM (Doctor of Dynamic Jewelry Marketing). Warren will present “Your Best Black Friday Sale Ever!” beginning at 8:00. Afterward the Buying Show opens from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm.
