The 24 Karat Club, Southeastern United States has announced their slate of new members for 2009. The new members will be inducted at the Club’s annual banquet to be held Saturday, August 8 (opening day of the Southern Jewelry Travelers Association’s Atlanta Jewelry Show) at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre.
The 2009 inductees include Howard Kelrick, President of Finger Mate, Inc., Fran Zimniuch, Eastern Advertising Representative for Instore Magazine, Linus Drogs, President of AU Enterprises, Anish Desai, President of Star Gems, Inc., David Peters, Director of Membership for Jewelers of America, and Sheri Ihde, Event Management and Industry Relations Specialist with Jewelers Mutual Insurance.

The 24 Karat Club, Southeastern United States is a group of prominent jewelry professionals conducting business in the southeast. The Club meets to network with peers and provides members the opportunity to offer scholarships to their retail customers. In addition to scholarships, the Club annually recognizes one outstanding southern retailer with their Retailer of the Year award. The Retailer of the Year award is presented at the Club’s luxurious black tie Banquet.
