Diamond Emotions joins RJO

Diamond Emotions is pleased to announce their acceptance into the Retail Jewelers Organization (RJO), an exclusive society of jewelers from across the United States. RJO is comprised of the most prominent names, businesses and people in the jewelry industry. “We are thrilled to become a member in this prestigious buying group,” said Rick Gouthro, president of Diamond Emotions.

RJO was established in 1966 with the sole purpose of bringing together the most brilliant minds in jewelry. Their mission is to command better pricing by buying collectively, while uniting retailers with manufacturers to share knowledge and achieve professional success. With Diamond Emotions’ dedication to the needs of independent jewelers, many of whom are existing RJO customers, this membership is a perfect fit.

Within 24 hours of meeting with the RJO Committee at the JCK Show in Las Vegas this past June, Diamond Emotions was presented with the opportunity to become one of their preferred vendors. “We greatly accepted and feel honored to be a part of such a renowned and respected Buying Group. Part of our presentation involved our son, Justin (VP of Marketing), and his diligent work crafting the branding and marketing strategies for our company,” said Gouthro. The response was extremely favorable towards their products, business philosophy and commitment to excellence, ultimately winning over the organization and its members.

With its outstanding patronage dividend program, premiere industry buying events and streamlined billing system, RJO’s benefits were developed to encourage and support the independent retail jeweler and its partnering vendors. RJO holds two annual Buying Shows and several planned buying trips overseas.

As a preferred vendor, Diamond Emotions offers private labeling for all retail customers, allowing the customer to brand for themselves, rather than from another vendor. The family-owned business has already been doing business with nearly 50 RJO customers. Many customers repeatedly encouraged Diamond Emotions to join their group. Some inspired members even sent in letters of recommendation and called in to the Board of Directors, leading to Diamond Emotions’ admittance to RJO.

Diamond Emotions’ inspiration and success began with the passion that Rick and his wife Gerri felt when they started looking for their own engagement rings while in college. “For my wife and I, the engagement ring was a symbol of our love and emotion for each other,” said Gouthro. “The diamond is a symbol of love, which serves as the foundation for our business. We make every ring with the thought that a couple somewhere in this world will be wearing one of our designs and that will be our bond forever.”

Diamond Emotions has grown to be a major supplier throughout the Midwest, and continues to expand across the United States and Canada. With exceptional craftsmanship and new, creative designs, Diamond Emotions is quickly making a name for themselves in the jewelry industry. “A great deal of devotion and care” is put into their designs, and with their recent membership to RJO, they are “very humbled by the accomplishment.”

“We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to the Retail Jewelers Organization for accepting us into their group. Most of all, we would like to thank our customers. Without a doubt, you are our greatest asset and without the support of all of our customers, we would not have this amazing opportunity,” said Gouthro, “As a promise to you, our standards will never be compromised. We will never lower our standards for pristine workmanship, nor maximum quality. Our commitment to meeting and surpassing customer expectations is the foundation of our business success. We would like to offer a special thank you to RJO for thinking of us and extending this opportunity and to our own customers who helped make this happen.”
