Jewelers Mutual, Excelion Partners team up for 3D projection aimed at creating customized jewelry store experiences
(NEENAH, Wis.) – Holojem™, a Jewelers Mutual Insurance Company partnership with Excelion Partners, won first prize at JCK Las Vegas’ Think Tank on Sunday, June 5.
Think Tank, an event held in a similar fashion to ABC’s Shark Tank, was moderated by Ann Arnold, chief strategy officer at Buyers Intelligence Group (BIG).
Using 3D holographic projection, Holojem allows jewelers to share their designs with their customers, who in turn can share them on their mobile devices and tablets. The objective of this innovative approach is to appeal to millennial consumers who expect personalized shopping and customized product offerings.
“We are extremely honored to have won at JCK Think Tank,” said Benjamin DeBoer, director of corporate development at Jewelers Mutual Insurance Company. “We are thankful for our team at Excelion Partners for co-designing this incredible technology to share with the jewelry industry. We can’t wait to see how Holojem can bridge the gap between physical shopping and design to create a memorable in-store experience.”

JCK Think Tank allowed technology vendors to pitch an innovative product or service at JCK Las Vegas, which was held June 3-6. Jewelers Mutual and Excelion Partners competed against five other finalists who were selected to showcase their technology in a live presentation to a panel of industry judges amongst a room of peers.
“Our innovation team wanted to create something for jewelers that has significant consumer impact,” said Greg Oppermann, president of Excelion Partners. “The judges recognized the full potential of Holojem as a way to create a remarkable and immersive brand experience.”
