Erich JacobsThe Jewelers Board of Trade (JBT) is pleased to announce the appointment of Erich K. Jacobs as VP, Technology.
Erich is a seasoned technology innovation executive who brings to JBT 30 years of IT technology, operational and financial experience. He joins JBT from ONKÖL, where he held the titles of Chief Executive Officer & Chief Technology Officer.
Erich brings diverse experience to the position. As CEO & CTO of ONKÖL, he created and launched an entirely new type of healthcare solution, combining custom hardware and SaaS software to help the elderly stay at home longer. Prior to that he was the SVP of Global Software Services at Insight, a global technology solutions provider where he created scalable software products and managed global services teams. He has also held senior technology positions at Level(3) Communications and Corporate Software. He earned his B.A. and M.S. from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Erich resides in Lexington, Massachusetts with his wife, and two children in college.
