Jewelers Mutual appoints Woldt and Calabresa to Personal Lines division positions

(NEENAH, Wis.) – Jewelers Mutual Insurance Company is pleased to announce that Trina Woldt has accepted the newly created position of chief marketing officer within the company’s personal lines division. Continuing her career in marketing and creative services management, Woldt will further develop the company’s marketing efforts of its Perfect Circle® Jewelry Insurance brand. More than 300,000 jewelry owners trust their cherished jewelry to Jewelers Mutual and its Perfect Circle Jewelry Insurance consumer product.

“Jewelers Mutual continues to develop products which serve both commercial jewelers and jewelry owners,” said Darwin Copeman, president and CEO of Jewelers Mutual. “Trina is a wonderful addition to our personal lines team, and her expertise in marketing will help take our Perfect Circle Jewelry Insurance brand to the next level.”

Jewelers Mutual launched its personal jewelry insurance business in 1953 at the request of jewelers who saw the value of jewelry insurance for their customers. “We listened to our jewelers, who have been at the heart of our business for 100 years, and we built a personal jewelry insurance product to protect their customers.” In 2012, Jewelers Mutual branded its personal jewelry insurance as Perfect Circle Jewelry Insurance, which it continues to promote to consumers in the United States and most of Canada.

Before joining Jewelers Mutual, Woldt served as the director of marketing and development at the Paine Art Center and Gardens in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Previous to her time at the Paine, Woldt held positions in Chicago as general manager of McGarryBowen and executive vice president and creative general manager of Draftfcb. She was also the president of Trina Woldt Marketing Consultants, LLC from 2006-2010 working with national and international consumer brands.

The addition of Woldt to the personal lines teams will also support personal lines sales efforts led by Michael “Cal” Calabresa. Calabresa was appointed as director of business development – personal lines after serving Jewelers Mutual as director of agency operations and as a commercial lines sales and marketing consultant. Before joining Jewelers Mutual, he was vice president of sales and marketing at Integrity Mutual Insurance Company and held numerous sales and marketing leadership positions during more than 24 years with Sentry Insurance.

Woldt and Calabresa both fill newly developed roles for Jewelers Mutual as it continues to promote its Perfect Circle Jewelry Insurance product. An additional aspect of their roles is that they will be working on both direct-to-consumer and business-to-business campaigns.

Jewelers do not sell insurance, but, according to Copeman, “Jewelers see the benefit of our personal jewelry insurance product in building customer loyalty to their stores and services.  When a personal jewelry policyholder has a chipped stone or an earring that mysteriously disappears, Jewelers Mutual sends that customer back to their trusted jeweler and pays for the repair or replacement directly. For the jeweler, it’s like selling the same piece of jewelry twice. For customers, it’s a hassle-free process that quickly gets their wedding rings back on their fingers or their heirloom pieces looking as amazing as they did generations ago.”

Jewelers Mutual Insurance Company continues to seek skilled and experienced employees to fill a variety of roles within the company. For a full list of employment opportunities, visit JewelersMutual.com.
