(NEW YORK) – The Plumb Club is pleased to welcome new members, as well as new categories, to its roster. For the first time, the Club has opened membership to service providers of the jewelry and watch industry. With 45 existing members, representing over 100 jewelry and watch brands, companies Chic Pistachio and Gemological Science International (GSI) join other leading firms that are shaping the future of the industry and who exhibit in The Plumb Club’s Pavilion at the JCK Las Vegas Show.

Chic Pistachio is the brainchild of over 100 years of combined experience in the jewelry industry to create a company that has access to all the latest technology and manufacturing to create brands with worldwide appeal. Their flagship brands, ANIA HAIE and AURELIE GI, have quickly become best sellers in the US market and are expanding their global reach as well. They have a talented staff of designers, artists, and technicians to work with sales, marketing, and logistics teams with one focus – creating the best jewelry at the best price with the most appeal. Their family of brands is the result. Each brand focuses on a different aspect of today’s jewelry needs from sterling silver designs to women’s 14kt delicate trends to the bold characteristics found in nature.

“When evaluating our future, we recognized instinctively that The Plumb Club is the perfect fit for the next step in our US expansion,” says Alisa Bunger, vice president of US sales and operations for Chic Pistachio. “The Plumb Club showcases high quality manufacturers and brands, so we know it will make for a great collaboration. We’ve seen amazing success the past few years and look forward to a beneficial partnership.”

Gemological Science International (GSI) is one of the largest gemological organizations in the world with 13 laboratories, spanning four continents. Utilizing cutting-edge processes and proprietary technologies, along with a commitment to the highest ethical standards and practices, GSI is a leader in diamond, jewelry and gemstone certification. GSI offers grading reports for diamonds (both natural and lab-grown), colored gemstones and jewelry, and testing and detection for undisclosed lab-grown diamonds in finished jewelry. The company is committed to advancing gemological research through its state-of-the-art research center and offers gemological educational programs for trade professionals and the general public.

Gemological Science International

“GSI is thrilled to become a member of The Plumb Club,” says Debbie Azar, president and co-founder of GSI. “We are honored to join this prestigious organization that is recognized for its leadership and positive impact on the diamond and jewelry industry.”

Sam Sandberg, president of The Plumb Club, commented, “We are thrilled to welcome Chic Pistachio and GSI, our first service organization, to our membership. Both companies were highly recommended and underwent a significant vetting process to ensure a good fit with our vision.”

The Plumb Club still has a few spaces available for membership. Interested companies can inquire on The Plumb Club website at: https://plumbclub.com/membershipinquiry/. All Plumb Club Members must meet stringent requirements of business ethics, practices and conduct, as well as human rights, social and environmental responsibility, and be in compliance with local, federal and international laws. As of 2019, all Plumb Club members are required to become certified members of the RJC (Responsible Jewelry Council).
