Manhattan Gold & Silver website features updated gold fixing prices multiple times daily

(NEW YORK) - Manhattan Gold & Silver, a precious metal refining operation, recently made it easier for visitors to their website, www.mgsrefining.com, to ascertain the current price of gold and other precious metals.  When you visit the website’s home page, you can now see the AM and PM London price fix for gold, platinum and palladium; silver fixing is published once a day.  Price fixings can also be accessed via mobile device at MGSRefining.mobi.  Gold and Silver fixing data is provided by the London Bullion Market Association (LBMA).  Platinum and palladium fixing data is provided by the London Platinum and Palladium Market (LPPM).

This new service allows website visitors and potential customers to get a more accurate idea of what their precious metals are worth when they send items in to be recycled or refined (prices are set per troy ounce and displayed in USD).  Visitors can receive morning precious metals pricing information after 4:30AM EST (10:30AM London Time). The closing price is updated again when the market closes at 3PM London time to coincide with the opening of the US Market (9:00AM EST).

“We are very excited to be able to offer this service to our customers,” says an official with Manhattan Gold and Silver.  “With the addition of multiple pricings for gold and the availability of other precious metal prices, we are offering a service that I really think our customers will like.”

Knowing the price of these precious metals is especially important to those sending in metals to be recycled, the price they are quoted is based on when it is received, not on the day it is sent, except with clients that have hedging accounts (spot trades are available).  Now customers can ensure they are getting a fair price for metals they are sending in to be recycled.

Manhattan Gold and Silver is a family-owned business that has been in operation for over 25 years.  A small management team makes business simple and efficient, while employees at their on site melting and assaying facilities make quick work of metal recycling and processing.
