Jewelers for Children (JFC) is the jewelry industry’s way of giving back to those in need. Namano and Southeastern Findings, Tucker, GA, have always been a generous supporter of JFC. At the recent Alabama Jewelers and Georgia Jewelers Joint Convention held April 17-19 at Callaway Gardens, Pine Mountain, GA, Namano and Southeastern hosted a Texas Hold’em Poker Tournament that raised $700 for JFC.
Namano and Southeastern Findings sponsored a Texas Hold’em Poker Tournament at the Alabama and
Georgia Jewelers Associations’annual Convention. In addition to being lots of fun, the event raised $700 for Jewelers for Children.
Retailers and sales reps from both states enjoyed a friendly card game while vying for prizes including a poker bracelet in the style of the World Series of Poker bracelet. The bracelet was created and donated by sponsors Namano and Southeastern Findings.
Winner of the grand prize was Heidi Coplen of T K Anderson Jewelers in Athens, GA. Also winning prizes were Don Ogle, sales representative for Sommers and Sommers, Atlanta, and Steve Singer, sales representative for Shah Diamonds, New York.
Adam Schaper of Namano & Southeastern hosted the late night event and provided the prizes along with Knox Jewelers of Atlanta.
