The International Jewelers Organization (IJO) recently held its Spring Buying Show in San Antonio, Texas. Among the over 150 vendors exhibiting was the Box Brokers Group. Known throughout the jewelry industry as a prime independent jewelers source for custom packaging, the firm was a first time exhibitor and took full advantage of its featured status.
With a prime location in the front of the exhibiting hall and a highly successful promotion – giving away over $12,000 in designer sunglasses to IJO members – Box Brokers Group proved that they were indeed a welcome addition to the organization.
In addition to helping the members of IJO, Box Brokers Group also helped IJO itself by donating a number of jewelry displays to the group for the organization’s own branding exhibit. Extending Box Brokers Group’s commitment to helping the independent jeweler brand themselves with the help of packaging and displays.
“It was a tremendous reception from a tremendous organization,” said Box Brokers Group Senior Vice-President Doug Hardy. “We were so excited initially just to be accepted into the group, that when we finally had our chance to exhibit here in San Antonio, with the response that we had, you simply could not ask for anything more.”
Box Brokers Group looks forward to continued success at the IJO’s 2014 Fall Buying Show to be held in Boston, MA in July. “We have a couple of exciting things for the IJO members to be looking forward to in Boston,” added Director of Marketing Bill Jones. “We are working closely with the IJO Branding Team on some great ways for the IJO members to take the next step in promoting the group and themselves. We consider Box Brokers Group a resource for these members; a tool to help the jeweler build their brand and further their sales.”
