David Henry Mosier, Sr., passed away at his home in Raleigh, NC on August 29, 2008 at the age of 64. Dave began working in the jewelry industry at the age of 18. He had a long and successful career in the industry including owner of M&M Jewelers, Inc., vice president with Longines Wittnauer, president of the Eastern Jewelers Travelers Association and a member of the North Carolina Jewelers Association board of directors.
Mosier is survived by his wife Barbara, son David Mosier, Jr. and his wife Elena, daughter Aleece Mosier, son Jay R. Mosier and his wife Elisa, brother William Mosier, sister Barbara Weible, 2 granddaughters and many nieces, nephews and other family members.
A memorial service for Mosier was held September 2nd. Memorials may be made to Duke Bone Marrow & Stem Cell Transplant Program in Honor of David Mosier at DUMC, Box 3961, Durham, NC 27710.
