(CINCINNATI) – Ethical Metalsmiths (EM) has announced the launch of the Grantorship Program, a program that was developed in 2022 by EM’s former Executive Director Alexandra Hart and EM Advisor Kathleen Lynagh House.
Donors have already committed to supporting several of the target areas listed below.
The grants were developed to focus on three types of need in the areas of Education, Connection, and Action, which align with EM’s mission statement – Inspiring responsible jewelry practices through education, connection and action.
The Grantorship Program currently is focused on supporting the following initiatives:
- Education Grant: EM attend educational seminars for industry education – $4,500
- Connection Grants: EM exhibiting at the Chicago Responsible Jewelry Conference – $2,000 and EM exhibiting at national industry tradeshows – $3,000
- Action Grants: Grant 10 EM Emerging Jeweler Program memberships – $1,500 and grant 2 EM Emerging Jewelers to attend the Chicago Responsible Jewelry Conference (registration, airfare, accommodation) – $2,500
