(NEW YORK) – In the interest of increasing consumer awareness and confidence in the diamond and fine jewelry industry, International Gemological Institute (IGI) North America – a certified member of the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC) – has launched a national cable campaign to air on Fox News, MSNBC, CNBC, CNN, HLN and Time Warner Cable NY1 News.
The campaign is focused on educating consumers to the need for independently graded and evaluated diamonds, which ultimately provides them peace of mind and incentivizes them to purchase fine gemstone jewelry.
IGI President Jerry Ehrenwald, G.G., A.S.A. stated, “The advertising campaign positions IGI as a brand consumers can trust when making a jewelry purchase. IGI assurance builds confidence among consumers, and credibility among retailers who offer IGI reports.”
The IGI commercial is slated to run in targeted markets across the country.
