It was a day made for crowns and queens on a late October, 2017 afternoon at Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tennessee.
Alexandra Harper, Miss Williamson County, was crowned Miss Tennessee USA and earlier that day, Sofie Rovenstine, Miss Historic Franklin, was crowned Miss Tennessee Teen USA.
The new title-holders and the runners-ups received numerous prizes and scholarships, as pageant winners do, and included among the prizes were some special, sparkling gifts, created by Clarksville jeweler Elliott Herzlich of Elliott’s Jewelers. Herzlich, who designed the Corona pendant to mark the August 2017 Solar Eclipse, and the recently released “Drops of Love” line of hand blown glass and diamond pendants, under his “Elliott’s Exclusives” line presented Miss Tennessee USA with her own commemorative treasure.
In honor of the Miss Tennessee title winner, he created a one-of-a-kind, exclusive pendant made of 14 karat white and rose gold, accented with three full-cut round genuine diamonds symbolizing the Tennessee State flag, and set with a genuine Tennessee freshwater pearl surrounded by full-cut round diamonds.
Miss Tennessee Teen USA received her own exclusive piece in honor of her title as well. The 14 karat white gold petite crown necklace set with 20 points of full-cut round diamonds, was also custom created by Herzlich.

Since moving to Clarksville, Tennessee several years ago, Elliott has been deeply involved in the community and with Austin Peay University. His wife, Dr. Alisa White, is President of Austin Peay.
His focus on commemorative pieces tied back to the Clarksville community, along with his marketing savvy and ability to spot cutting edge trends have been a huge factor in the success of his exclusive projects.
