Quality Gold acquires Luxury Giftware by Jere

(FAIRFIELD, Ohio) – Quality Gold has purchased Luxury Giftware by Jere, LLC., a wholesale supplier to leading national and international retail establishments who specialize in fine giftware, jewelry and collectibles. Based in Marietta, GA, Luxury Giftware by Jere is known for their heirloom quality jewelry boxes, and extensive assortment of bejeweled trinket boxes, as well as Damascus steel blade knives featured within their Luxury Knives collection.

Michael Langhammer, CEO Quality Gold, stated: “Jere has a loyal retailer base that benefits from his assortment of high quality giftware. I have a tremendous amount of respect for the business Jere has built. He has kept current with trends in the gift industry and he has adjusted his line to meet the needs of his customers. He listens to his customers and develops product they want to display in their stores.”

Jason Langhammer, COO Quality Gold, added, “My father originally did business with Jere Wright and Quality Gold has had a long business relationship with his company. When Jere approached us about selling his business, it simply made sense for all of us to complete this deal.”

Quality Gold will operate Luxury Giftware by Jere as a brand presented by Quality Gold. All merchandise began invoicing and shipping from Quality Gold in Fairfield, OH in earlier this year.

Jere Wright will join Quality Gold. He will continue in a sales and product development role. You will still see Jere at the shows and he’ll be available to answer specific questions or help develop a custom bejeweled item. Jere will be part of the transition team that leads the company in the expansion and introduction of designs for Luxury Giftware in the coming year. All strengths possessed will be integrated and then built upon as this change in ownership takes place.

Michael went on to say: “Jere has been the lifeblood of his company for years. He knows the best-selling styles and has a tremendous relationship with his supply channels. His knowledge will benefit Quality Gold as we continue to grow our gift business. We welcome Jere Wright to the Quality Gold family and look forward to working with him for years to come.”

When Jere Wright, founder and president, Luxury Giftware by Jere, was asked about selling to Quality Gold, he said: “Quality Gold is the perfect home for the company I’ve worked diligently to build over the last 25 years. I love the people at Quality Gold and look forward to being part of their team. I am excited to continue developing and introducing great merchandise, which turns fast and earns retailers a nice profit. With them taking over the day to day shipping and administrative functions, I can concentrate in product development and in working with customers. These are two of my favorite passions and Quality Gold will allow me to concentrate my time in both areas. I am excited about this change.”
