(ATLANTA) – The Atlanta Jewelry Show returns to the Cobb Galleria Center, February 28-March 2, 2009, with a tremendous product selection and a growing roster of buyer services and show features designed to help retailers get their year off to a strong start. Bringing the latest introductions from 500-plus exhibiting companies together with special features like complimentary gas cards for pre-registering, free daily breakfasts, festive networking events, free seminars and the chance to earn valuable rewards based on show orders, the 2009 Spring Show will attract independent jewelers from the southeast, as well as other regions of the country, who are seeking a first-hand look at the next best-sellers, breaking trends, and business-building strategies.

Retailers can explore the latest introductions from more than 500 industry leaders and up-and-coming companies in virtually every product category, including antique jewelry, bridal, charms, designer jewelry, diamonds, earrings, gold, pearls, platinum, sterling jewelry, tools, watches and much more. Retailers can also get a first-hand look at a wide array of cutting edge designs in the special Point of View: A Designer Gallery section of the show.
It’s easier than you think to reward yourself with SJTA Rewards
It’s never been easier to earn SJTA Reward points for every dollar spent at the Atlanta Jewelry Show. That’s because buyers can earn reward points for every order placed with every exhibitor. After placing orders with exhibitors, retailers, who are automatically enrolled in the program, simply present copies of their orders to the SJTA Rewards Desk. Reward points corresponding to their order amount are automatically deposited to their special accounts. After the show, retailers can then visit the program’s online catalog to see the reward items they can order, including electronics, travel packages, decorative accessories, housewares, music and more.
SJTA’S High Flying Buyers Club
Retailers who have earned 15,000 SJTA Reward points or more at any one of the past three shows are automatically enrolled in the High Flying Buyers Club. Another reward for retailers, this popular program returns to thank retailers who pre-register and attend the Spring Atlanta Jewelry Show. All retailers who pre-register will receive a special coupon by mail that can be redeemed for a complimentary gas card when they arrive at the show’s registration desk. Free daily Buyer Breakfast, Exhibitor Meet & Greet
Buyers are invited to enjoy a free daily breakfast in the registration concourse of the Cobb Galleria Centre. On Sunday, March 1, retailers won’t want to miss the chance to be introduced to the show’s first-time exhibitors during the “New Exhibitor Meet & Greet” session at 9:30 am, in conjunction with the buyer breakfast. During the session, buyers will be able to meet representatives from these companies and discover what new items will be featured during the show.

The popular SJTA U educational series returns with top-notch presenters and topics touching on the industry’s most important issues today. What’s more, the full-scale program makes it even easier for retailers to obtain SJTA Certified Jeweler Status – a designation that lets area customers know that a store is truly committed to ongoing education and quality customer service. To achieve SJTA Certified Jeweler status, retailers must attend two Atlanta Jewelry Shows per year and at least two seminars during each show, for a total of four seminars a year. To maintain status, the retailer must then attend one Atlanta Jewelry Show per year and a minimum of two seminars a year.
