“Be All In or Get All Out. There is No Half Way.” ~ Anonymous

Happy Anniversary to us! Two years ago, we celebrated our extremely successful launch of the Southern Jewelers Guild during the August, 2015 edition of the Atlanta Jewelry Show. Now, two years later, the Southern Jewelers Guild is continuing to expand its offerings of services, and welcoming even more retailers and vendors into our SJG family.

In addition to our Southern Jewelers Guild PR and Marketing programs, jewelry retailers can now take advantage of a great educational program we’ve just made available for Fall/Winter of 2017, courtesy of our generous new vendor partners at the Cultured Pearl Association of America.

The Cultured Pearl Association of America is excited about our anniversary, and is offering our members FREE access to the comprehensive “Pearls as One” course.

As the most comprehensive course on pearls written to date, the online-only course was researched, written, vetted, and edited by the top pearl specialists in the world under CPAA treasurer Jeremy Shepherd, who is also the founder of Pearl Paradise.

Pearls of Joy developer Kevin Canning also worked on the course for the CPAA, and created the technical functionality of the website.

The course covers South Sea pearls, Tahitian pearls, akoya pearls, traditional and new beaded freshwater pearls and more. Written and video segments are both featured in the learning components and the modules were developed with the flexibility to allow new instructors the ability to add materials designed to keep the learning process moving forward.

When I asked Jeremy why he worked with the CPAA to develop this course he said: “Pearls are one of the most misunderstood gems in our industry. Most of the industry-focused educational programs focus primarily on diamonds and colored stones. This means that many accredited gemologist have very little knowledge or understanding of the many different types and qualities of pearls that are available.”

The CPAA Pearl Specialist Certification Course will change the way you view the cultured pearl industry! Ready to save $599 and get started on your pearl education experience for FREE?

Call me at 504-615-1191 today to register or update your (also free!) SJG membership today and receive your Southern Jewelers Guild sponsorship code for Pearls as One.

To help our SJG retailers prepare for the 2017 holiday season, we’re expanding our Digital Real Estate program through our partnership with Google, which helps you identify all the FREE business listing opportunities that are available to you online. Additionally, we’re offering special rates on services to help you locate all your current listings (known and unknown), and get them updated with the most current business information, including hours, product lines and services. Don’t let another day go by with a listing that is out of date, incomplete, or contains the wrong information. Claim your free space on the digital landscape and expand your business opportunities!

Free Google listings can help you attract new customers, as well as access tools developed to help you learn how to keep your customers coming back through regular updates on your listings. If you already have claimed your digital space, but want to learn how to bring in customers by sharing helpful information, engage online, and build customer loyalty or discover how people find your business, we can help with that.

Use the next 30 days to get your online listings in tip-top shape, and enjoy the extra revenue you’ll receive from raising your visibility throughout the holiday season!

Have questions about the Southern Jewelers Guild or want more information about membership or any of our product offerings or services? Connect with me! E-mail me at Ann@SouthernJewelersGuild.com or call 504-615-1191 today.
